In Honor of Easter…

In Celebration of Easter

In Celebration of Easter

I never enjoyed eating those little peeps, even when I was a small child.  My mom loved them though.  I still remember how quickly they became stale and hard as a rock in those little yellow cellophane packages.  I always wondered what happened to them, and now I know…

If you know where this framed portrait resides, be the first to comment below with the correct location and score yourself a $5 Starbucks gift card! Here’s a hint: It’s somewhere in Seattle, WA.

Fun on the Water…

Where Am I?

I love seeking out new and interesting places to visit.  I also love finding typos in signs, packaging, etc. Here is a place I visited last summer when I came across this sign. If you are one of the first 5 people to tell me exactly where this is, I’ll send you a $5 Starbucks card.  Hint: It’s on the waterfront somewhere in the greater Puget Sound area of Washington.

Fredericks Appliance Sale

Fredericks Appliance Center

Over the years, I’ve purchased many appliances for my homes and apartments. Fredericks Appliances has been my supplier because I trust the owner, Eric Blakemore, to stand behind the products that he sells.  I’ve mentioned his store and customer service in prior posts, and now I’m shamelessly promoting his upcoming sale at the end of this month. Click HERE to see the ad for his store.

The sale is on April 29, 30, May 1st.

Violet Beauregarde’s Heaven in Seattle…

The Gum Wall

Alas, if only Violet hadn’t found the golden ticket, and instead opted to visit Seattle, she wouldn’t have been so blue.  Instead, she might have taken up residence in Pike’s Market just so she could visit this personal shrine at her leisure.

A Seattle Kaleidoscope of Flavors

Think of Jackson Pollock meets Jelly Belly. If you’re still in the dark about where (or what) this place is, its the Gum Wall below Pike Market.  I don’t know how long it has been there, but to be perfectly honest, I just discovered it this past week while frequenting the restaurant across the alley.

Donations Accepted

If you’ve ever felt that you should be more giving, this is your opportunity. No cash is required. However, this is BYOG (Bring your own GUM). I’m sure you can pick up a piece somewhere in the market. If you’re feeling hungry, I’m sure you might even be able to take a piece as well…

My new listing in Woodinville, WA

I just listed home in Woodinville, WA for $799,000. It is 4300 square feet, and has beautiful mountain views from the back deck. Some lucky buyer will get a steal on this home, as my sellers originally paid $1mil for it a few years ago… But, the real estate market is just like the stock market in that it goes up and down… Timing is everything! Drop me a line if you’d like a personal tour of this home.

Woodinville home for sale

Okay, so this is just a self-serving post. I just listed a home in Woodinville near where I live. This is the 3rd home that I’ve listed in this particular neighborhood, and it’s a great place to call home. You can even walk to the local elementary school (East Ridge Elementary). It’s just a short drive to Redmond, Bellevue, or even Seattle. What’s really cool about this location, is that there are several golf courses within a 10 minute drive! Check out the slideshow on the right side of my Blog for photos of this great home. If you’d like to drive by the home for yourself, the address is 15049 225th Ave NE.

Some of the particulars:

Listed at $750,000
3678 Sqft on a horse acre lot
4 bedrooms / 2.5 baths / den / bonus room
3 car garage
Built in 1997
The master suite has a gas fireplace!

Happy New Year!

Like most everyone, I started out in 2006 with a plan. About halfway through the year, something went awry and I just got too busy with life (you know, the stuff that keeps us busy such as work, home, kids, etc…). As a result, I didn’t follow through with a few of my original goals. One was to stay in better touch with my clients. The other was to maintain regular posts to this blog.

Welcome to 2007! New year. Same goals. So, here I am posting my first blog of the year. Nothing groundbreaking, just wanting you to know that I am also starting to create videos for my listings as a way of gaining additional exposure for my clients. If you click on the link for YouTube and type in my name in the search box (Daniel Jeung), it should bring up a window with the videos I’ve created (only one so far, but I’m taking a movie making class to improve my skills…).

Here is my first video [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8R5uglbbs8]

This is a home I have listed in Duvall, Washington for $540,000 in Legacy Ridge.

Easter in La Conner, WA

I decided to take the day off and have some fun. With the top down and a cold chill in the air I visited La Conner, Washington with Lisa to see the tulip festival and to take some photos. This one reminded me of the time I got lost at Disneyland when I was a little boy. That’s my mom on the left.

Here are some others that caught my lens…

Another lost tulip!
